Hello, I'm in Spring, work near Atascocita and go downtown for church, so I'm a little everywhere. I would love to join the group for support. Like Miss Cherita, I don't have the support because I choose not to tell anyone about my journey with the lap-band besides my boyfriend. I feel a like I've come to a standstill with my weight and still have about 40lbs to lose.

Just rec'd my date today. JUNE 12.....A little nervous, have major butterflies in my stomach but I'm ready for a change. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

I'm keeping my surgery a secret...........only my boyfriend knows and supports me 100%. My family tends to be highly opinionated and it's very ignoring. Diabetes and high blood pressure runs in my family. My my mother and all of her sisters and brothers have diabetes and I want just want to try to avoid that as much as possible. I feel that it's better for me to lose the weight now and have healthier life. If keeping your surgery a secret is what you choose to do then by all means do so. Good luck on your journey.
