  1. When I had my surgery my doctor did not have me eat food in general for 4 weeks post op. Then I started on mushy foods like scrabbled eggs, mashed potatoes, hot dogs, etc. Things that could be mushed up really well. My doctor said one reason is because the stomach is adjusting to the band and is recovering from the surgery. Hope that helps.
  2. Hello~ My name is Jamie and had the lap band surgery a year and 4 months ago. So far everything has been successful. However I have stop loosing weight and was wondering if anyone else out there has had the same problem? Can anyone give me advise into what I need to do?!! And, yes I have had two fills. Also, if there is anyone out there that wants to know about my surgery or just has questions in general please email, I enjoy sharing information with individuals who are interested in the procedure or just curious. Jamie
