    B- 2 c coffee w/creamer, meds, Water L- 1 smoked chicken drummet, 3/4 of a smoked pork rib, 2 bites of cole slaw, 5 bites of baked Beans. D- 2 chicken drummets, 2 ribs, 1 corn cobbet, 1/4c baked beans. S- about one cup ma maybe s bit more of this pineapple/orange fluff I made for dessert today. * tea, sf punch, and water thru the day

    vitamins

    I just recently saw a commercial for something called VitaMelts.. Guess it melts in your mouth and they come in yummy flavors. I remember when I was first banded, I tried the Bariatric Advantage chewables, they were aweful.. I used the Flinstones, Gummies, then finally just went to basic multi vitamins you swallow, I take it at night of course as its most easiest for me to swallow.

    B- 2 cups coffee w/creamer, meds 1 hashbrown patty S- can of V8 juice, bottle Water L- 2oz cheese, and some homeade cheeseball spread, w/ multigrain crackers. D- Glass of unsweet tea first, 2 chicken patty's sliced up dipped in mustard and mayo. water thru the day.. For some reason, I just thought I had to have a cookie before bed, I was over the sink gagging it up. Goes to show ya I didn't need it!! Lol.. I'm a cookie monster~

    6/28/13 B- coffee w/creamer, Water and meds. L- Cherry cheesecake VI shake D- Homeade sausage vegetable noodle Soup, I'd say 1 1/2c, 1 sweet potato dinner roll. ** water and sf lemonade thru the day. I have been sick the last 2 or 3 days with a terrible headache,, I think its the carb and sugar w/d.. I googled it,, they call it the carb flu, lol!! Literally have felt like I could fall out, so today I allowed myself some noodles in my soup. Anyway,, it will pass,, gotta start logging my foods everyday. I have super tight restriction from a fill last week,, not eating much,, but I like it!!!!

    6/24/13 B- Coffee w/Creamer , Water and meds L- Protein Shake D- Ham salad, seafood salad, cottage cheese, (a good heaping spoon each) 3 tomato slices and a few slices of cucumber w/ ceasar dressing, a handful of pork rinds. S- SF Jello w/ fruit in it topped w/ a little whip cream. *Plenty of iced water thru the day and vitamins.

  9. Hi, I was banded by Dr. Rehnke 9/16/2008, and have lost about 115lbs or so. Still a work in progress though.. I know he works and does the seminars with Dr. Jessee. I would be more than happy to chat with you any time!! Hope all is well!!

    crackers

    The Wheat Ritz are really good ones.. I like to limit my carbs, so I like to eat pork rinds, they make for a good cracker and no carbs as well. The barbecue flavor is my favorite! :thumbup: The special k crackers are good too.

    Monday- early morning- 26g protien shot, meds&water, sf iced coffee midmorning- tall can Monster locarb energy/coffee drink :mad: lunch- small chef salad w/ranch snack- 3 or 4 wheat crackers w/ hamsalad dinner- can of broccoli & cheese soup Lots of water, Powerade Zero, and some unsweet tea through out the day. :smile2:

    Well, my day started off good then I just had to give into those craving!! :tongue2: More football practice running here and there.. So here goes... Wednesday- B- 26g prot shot, 1 bottle water, meds & vitamins L-1oz leftover steak, few bites broccoli & cheese< verytight! Snacks- 3 small slim jims, handfull almonds, Powerade Zero D-kid's size coke, Checker's chilidog w/o bun, kids cheeseburger w/o bun, most of a small fry (gave the rest to my son). This was a mistake, because I vomited after.. :thumbup: Later- a granola bar at home... Here's where I'm really ashamed.. I had to go out later.. Coming back I stopped and got some chocolate. I had myself a snickers and a reese's!! Oh my gosh I can't believe I did tHAT!! Before my band I was a binge eater.. Sometimes I actually still mourn the fact that I cant do that anymore.. I know its crazy! Cause I luv the new me!! I dont wanna go back to 405 pounds ever again!! Thats what scares the crap oughtta me!!Especially when I feel so out of control that I have to get food to make me feel better. Food has always been my drug of choice.. Wish the band could cure that!! I sure am glad this forum is here for me to vent.. I just need to be honest.. even when Im bad!! Thank God tomorrow is a new day!! :thumbup:

    My whole routine has really been off. I have got to get back on schedule with things. I am off for the summer so I am sleeping late, and I havent been getting my fluids in here lately. Today was crazy, we were running for football practice, didnt get home till late.. So here goes... Tuesday- B-26g prot shot, water, meds & vitamins, sf van iced coffee L-a few drinks of reg fruit punch, big slim jim, small bag pork skins Snack- more fruit punch, a small bag trail mix Dinner-1/2c brown chicken&rice, about 3/4 of a corn muffin 1 bottle water 2oz cheese We were at football practice today, so it was a snacky day..:blushing:

    Monday Slept late... :thumbup: 1 bottle water, 1 cup coffee, 1/2c oj, meds & vitamins then later... Brunch- 2 eggs over easy w/ 2 thin slices deli ham heated in the pan. Snack- a few wheat crackers w/ pimento chse water Dinner- 1 glass of tea, then Side salad, small cup of potato soup, half of a turkey melt sandwich.(my son helped me eat this half of a sandwich) Later- tea, Normally, I would like to get more water in, but I just didnt today.. Will try and do better tomorrow.. I am really trying to fight the cravings.. lol It is def a mind thing!! It's a battle!!

    Hello.. I keep the fridge stocked with plenty of bottled water, Powerade Zero's, and I drink unsweet tea w/ splenda. Also coffee and I make my own sf iced coffee every day.. Gotta have one of those and a protien shot every day!! lol :thumbup: Hope these ideas help!!
  19. Actually, now that I think of it.. It seems like when I went in, my period seemed to stop right after the surgery I don't know if it had something to do with the anesthesia, I'm sure? I thought that was strange for me. But don't worry about that. I remember the nurses telling me they have ladies come in like that all the time.. But I know, we just think of everything!! :tt1:
  20. Hi.. Yes, You can have your surgery while your on your period. I did.. I thought the same thing.. :thumbup: You just might want to mention it to the nurse when you go in that day for surgery, just tell them you need to keep your undies on.. And I made sure I made one last trip to the rest room before I went into surgery. :thumbup:

    Monday 1/4/10 B-water, coffee, meds, then later a peanutbutter mocha choc protien shake (41gr protien) L- a Fuze drink, then a Weight Watchers meal (salsbury steak and mac & cheese) all I know it was 6 pts ? coffee, Water D- 2 very small thin grilled pork chops, 1/2c broccolo & cheese, 1/2c rice. S- 1 miniture snickers, 1miniture reese cup, 3 cookies.:rolleyes2:

    Wednesday- B- 26g protien shot, 1c Water, meds, SF iced coffee made w/ 2 c Hood milk 16g protien, 6 carbs. L- 1c iced tea, 4 turkey meatballs, 1/8c ham salad, 1/4c cottage cheese w/ a sprinkle of shred chse on top, 6 wheat ritz crackers water, iced tea D- Olive Garden! 1 glass of raspberry lemonade, 2 fried lasagna appetizer's w/ dipping sauce, some salad, 1 bread stick w/ dipping sauce broken up and spread out so it seemed to go far,3/4 of a pork cutlet, about 4 cheese filled tortalini Pasta w/ a spinach alfredo sauce. It was delish!! :biggrin: And of course my after dinner mint!!:w00t: water later, and maybe some hot tea or something like that!

    Jachut, The splenda in the Hood milk does not make it sweet. All milk has some sort of natural sweetener. I have a gallon of 1% in the fridge now the rest of the family drinks and it has 13 grams of sugar in a glass as where the Hood milk I drink only has 3 grams to a glass and the differenc is it is sweetened w/ Splenda not natural sugars. I try to watch my sugars and carbs, because I have about 120 pounds or so more to lose. :tongue2: I guess variety is what makes the world go around, right?

    I also like to drink the Hood Calorie Count Down 2% milk or the fat free kind because it is soo much lower in sugar and carbs and is made w/ splenda, also it is high in protien. The chocolate is fabulous as well too! Give it a try! But I do buy 1% for the rest of my family to drink.
