    My name is Alys (pronounced Alease) and I am 31 years old. I am nervous and excited and scared all rolled into one big ball of emotion but more ready than ever to have this done. I have been overweight my whole life and I have finally reached to point where I have to make the change. My friends and family are being super supportive but I hope to make even more friends and create an extended support system on this forum.
