  1. Hi All, I was banded 3/12- have only lost 12lbs- most in the first two weeks. My doctor told me not to worry- I still did, but I have been reading what everyone writes and am so glad to hear others run into difficulties. Eating is no problem for me, i have not had discomfort, blockage, nothing- just not seeing the wt go away. Which sucks, I am going on a trip 5/7- was hoping to be down 20-25 lbs by then. Question- I am scheduled for an appt 4/24- where i will probably get a fill, as i said I have a trip 5/7. I feel I should wait to get the fill until after i come home- any opinions??
