  1. Anyone have problems with this doctor? I'm having serious doubts here ... His office has been here for months yet there is still no furniture there and today they had no power. Had to check vitals outside because it was so hot in the office. It took forever for him to find my port. I have 7 punctures in my belly now. Just not a lot of confidence in this man.
  2. I'm Leighanne. I was banded on Oct. 17, 2007. I have lost right around 50 lbs. My doctor was very conservative with fills and it was frustrating. I moved to a different city and found a dr. to take over my care and he was more aggressive. That's when I started losing some weight. I've been pretty good about following my doc's instructions. Still need more Protein but I'm doing fairly well with keeping my portions down and such. Still, I am not where I wanted to be a year later. I need to get off my arse and exercise!
  3. Hello, I had my surgery in Oct. 07 with Dr. Wilson in Houston. Since then I've moved to Austin. First, I had to find a doctor to take over my treatment. Second, I had to find someone who accepts my insurance, BCBS-NJ. I found Dr. Patel, who takes other patients, but I am very disappointed and a little scared. His Austin office makes me feel like I'm in a back alley clinic. I need desperately to find a doctor who will 1.)take me and 2.) take my insurance. SW Bariatrics will take me if they review my info and accept me. In the meantime I'm an orphan. Any advice? :rolleyes2:
