  1. I try to avoid the forums. I have to pick what threads I read carefully because there can be negative vibes or doomsayers. My doctor actually advised me to stay off the forums for the most part. I do admit though when I see posts from other people saying their dates are same as mine I really want to make a connection. This is a HUGE undertaking in my life as I'm sure it is and has been to everyone here. That said I do very much love the before/after thread and refer to it often. I can't wait to post my success pictures there as well.
  2. Hi :cursing: I'm scheduled for Dec 11th too and start my liquid diet tomorrow. Nervous as well! I ordered injury.com Protein drinks which I hear are really good. i don't think they'll be here by monday though so I'm going to see what they have at the supermarket for a couple days. Going out shopping for my case of Water, sugar free Jello, broth or bullion. I can also have light yogurt (yech) and cottage cheese (yech).
  3. Hi Everyone, Wanted to say hello! I found the forums about a month ago and have found them a great source of inspiration, support and information. I live in Massachusetts and I'm 41 years old. My doctor is Dr Adam Glasgow in Norwood MA and I really like him alot. I have had just one on one with him and he has a very down to earth, likeable aura about him. I've gone through all my tests except a 2nd sleep study test to be fitted for a mask (I am so nervous about this.) My surgery is scheduled for December 11th. I am SO excited and committed to use the lapbad to the utmost advantage and get myself healthy, happy and looking good. Nice to meet you all  Beth
