  1. My doctor gave me the Reliefband after my surgery, its not a "band" but a electrical stimulation medical device and for post operative nausea and vomiting and it requires a precription from my Doc... Its made by Abbott Labs and he told me he uses it on all his baratric and lapband patients and its been best thing he has seen....plus it been fully tested, with clinicaly validated and FDA Approved to eliminate Nausea and Vominting (((mine was serious!!).. But best part was I only had to turn on device when i got sick and it eliminated my nausea almost immeadiatly... did not have to take durgs for releif and was able to drink and even eat a little... Amazingly it even worked for my wife!....she was pregnant and had bad morning sickness for almost 3 weeks....I let her try it and she would not give the device back to me!...We had to have my doctor write another prescription for me:tongue2: (she had tried everything, Zofran, those cheap pressure bands, ginger ..you name it, and nothing had worked)
