Hello all , i was 160 pre op , now i am 122 so i am almost there , but i face a very VERY embarrassing problem , i have saggy man breasts now ! so i went from a fat chunk to a mid slim guy with breasts ((((( , i mean its really embarrassing , will i need another surgery to remove them ? i keep telling my self when i was fat i was looking better at least i didnt have this problem " kinda" , any advise ?:bored:

Hello guys , yes i meant Kilograms , 160 kg = 352 lb :smile: so surgery is the answer then :thumbup:( more money , now i believe that money is the answer for every thing in this life

guys i have been on 2 Protein shakes a day one in the morning and one after the gym , i work out 1 hour a day , jog for 20 mins lift weights then jog for another 20 mins , i have been doing this for a week now , but the results are really worrying , i am gaining weight !!!!!! i have added up 1.2 Kilos ! how come ? i feel really disappointed , should i stop the shakes ? , i also eat a can of tuna during the day ! :bored:(

Ok here is the story , i went for my send fill i am now at aprox 7 cm , i can hardly fiish a glass of water , and every thing was smooth and i was loosing weight , a month later , today , i was sick and had no energy what so ever , so the doctor tells me u have to eat to get well, so i order a big mac with fries , and the thing is , I WAS ABLE TO FINISH THE WHOLE THING with no problems what so ever , it took me about 5 mins to finish it !!! where has my restriction go ? i mean , is there something wrong ? did i stretch my pouch ? is the band leaking ? i am very very worried :thumbup:

I sometimes have port pain but when i sit in some positions , but its not a discomforting pain , i mean i can handle it , put the weird thing that i have is that i lost any felling on the skin outside where the port is !!! donut know why so i pass my finger across my belly its fine but when it comes to this place where the port is i cant feel anything !!

yes in one sitting :eek: , but how come i dont feel any restriction while i have a 9 cc fill :thumbdown: what could be wrong ?

Well i am facing the same exact problem , i have 9 cc in and i am able to eat normally , for example yesterday , i was able to eat the following 1- big cub of yogurt 2-half a sub sandwich 3-a tuna toast sandwich 4- 1 litter of juice 5- a can of crab meat 6- 3 pics of KFC fried chicken now that is no less than what i used to eat before the band ! i dont know why i cant feel any restrictions , i m having doubts that i have a stretched pouch or something , i dont know what to do really :scared2: but the thing is , on the day of my fill o saw the liquid thing on the xray go slowly down so i saw the restriction then , i cant figure out what happened

it has something to do with the band but i am not sure how they are related .... i mean all of us have the same issue !

can someone please explain to me whats a sweet spot ? Thanks

Hello all , i had my band 3 months ago , my first fill was 1 week ago , i have 9 cc in , my band is 11 cc although i have 9 cc in i feel the restriction is not enough , yesterday i was able to eat the following with no problem 1 cup of Soup 2 and a half slices of bread 10 small shrimps and a glass of Water is that normal !!! i mean i eat less than before but i still think that is too much to eat when u have a 9cc fill , can some one please tell me whats going on ? should i have another fill or not? or do i have a stretched pouch ? Thanks

Does any one knows why we feel gassy? i mean i cant find a reason for it !

Thank you all for your replies .... well the doctor did tell me that i have added 9 cc on the first fill , cause he added 2 cc then i drank this liqued that appeared on the xray and there was no restriction the liquid just passed thru , so he added 2 more and the result was the same so he added 4 cc and then the restriction happened ..... so its 9 in total also what i ate was in 1 sitting and the glass of Water was with the food ... i am having all sort of worries , band slippage , port problems i feel very bad actually ...

burping and gas are normal , but i dont know why ..... this is what the doctor told me ..

Hello all , My surgery is tomorrow , and i am scared to death , i am afraid to not wake up from the anesthesia , also i am afraid from the pain after words , will i be able to take the pain ?

hello all , i just got home from surgery yesterday , man when i woke up i was thinking what the hell did i do to my self and i was all in regrets all because of the pain , but today as i am feeling a lot better than yesterday i am beginning to think strait again , the problem now is when ever i drink any thing i burp ! i mean i burp allot , also my doc told me he already filled the band with 3 cc's during the OP so is that normal ? thanks

Guys i am really confused Is there a difference between Swedish band and the LAp-band AP? or are they the same? i cant find an official website for the Swedish band , only for lapband .... can some one plz help me out here ?

Hello all , As u all know i am from Egypt and i have searching for a docs like for ever , so finally i found 2 and both offered the same price, one uses the Swedish band and other uses the a french band that i have never heard off !! , they told me it will cost 40,000 LE so thats around 7300$ :mad2: i am not sure which doc i will go for .. so did any one heard of the french band? hope that i get to a decision soon but from the numbers i saw , i think 7300 is too much , but hay , thank god that they do those ops here !!!

hello all , I have question here, some friend of mine told me that he knows a guy who did the OP and had trouble drinking, so he he will be too thirsty and was not able to drink till satisfaction , as he was only able to take small sips every a few hours, I drink water allot and I am afraid that I will not be able to drink as I please! so is that the case or its just " I know a guy " story ! :party:

Hello all, This is my first post, i am considering dr chris though i am very scared as I will be traveling alone, i am from Egypt, and i have been saving up for 2 years now for this, i am on a very tight budget so taking someone with me is not an option and being alone scares me the most!, I don’t think I will be able to travel after only 2 days of the operation as it will be a looooong flight , I really don’t know what to do, so any advice ? :huh2:
