My 2 cents worth, I hate porn because I know as a real woman I will never be able to compete w/ air brushing, all imperfections wiped out. hair and makeup made perfect. It sets unrealistic standards if I am not enough for my husband and that is what he needs to look at, something I will never be, goodbye to him.

If u are taking an ssri and then u take other meds. even over the counter cough meds, that affect your seratonin level and wow you get this total over load it is actually a quite serious and possibly deadly ordeal. I have been told that it does not happen to everyone but those that it does happen to it is more then miserable. I think anyone on ssri's should look it up and read about it. It took me years of my own research to find out what was happening to me whenever I was given to much of certain pain meds, but now that I know I do feel better just knowing is wonderful. Has anybody out there ever experienced this? It is hell, and I would love to here from anyone else who has gone through it so I know I am not alone.

Can you do this w/just walking and then walking fast instead of jogging or running?

21/2 days I can never pee after surgery so I am use to it.

Bless you. I just got out of the mental hosp. after 7 days I do so good for so long then boom it's back. I hate taking so many meds, I am going to start doing some classes thru. the hosp. that are suppose to help and in the future I can prob. start weaning off some meds. Please take care and get help.

Well it is 7:30 just three more hours so far I am feeling ok about this. Now though I am thinking did I research this enough, what are the long term effects of the band, and will it still be working w/me in 10 years?

thankyou all so much I love to read all of your stories, I am now in Denver at a hotel my surgery is tomorrow at 10:30. I live way up in the mountains and had to drive to Denver for my operation. I am now not nervous at all and am quite exited. So much good luk to all

This Wed. 10:30 am is my time for the start of the new me and today I, for the first time, have really been panic stricken almost thought I was going to have a panic attack. I am doing much better now and so glad I read these messages I just need to stay calm and it will be over so soon. Bless us all and goodluck. I also just had my daughter take pics of me in my undies at least it is one way to get back at her for her teenage ways lol.

Ok I put on my big girl undies and so far I feel better I just hope it lasts, I need to set my mind to chill and I will be ok. Thank you all.

OK so I have been going through this process for over 2 yrs. and now that I am only days away I am scared! Of what I do not know I am not of the pain or needles or anything else I can put my finger on but I am scared. So please just some words to help calm me. I live 6 hours from where I will have my surgery so I leave tomorrow morn. surgery is on wed. I have to do some blood work tomorrow. Why so nervous I know I want this so very much. ok I done have awonderful day to all.

How did you get off of effexor? It is very hard to go off and I would like to try cymbalta if it works as good. I take 150 time release of effexor and klonopin at night after so very many years of life I know I need something, but the withdrawals of effexor scare me so bad. Did u have a hard time changing?

Where do u get these drinks u write of?

My surgery is the 31st. also,:hurray: I do not have to be on any restrictions just no food 12 hours before surgery and no water 4 hrs. before. I do not know why Drs are different in this area. I am getting so nervous.

As far as ins. goes I had no problem, it's trying to get an apt. for surgery noone returns my calls.

I have been looking into Brown and Metz I so wish I would have looked into them 1st. I would like to go w/them and just might if I do not here very soon from Dr. T. office Thank you:tt2:

I am having no luck w/his office at all and neither is my friend, we have done everything we are suppose to and it has cost us alot of money hundreds and everytime we call to see if they have sent our paper work to ins. they keep coming up w/excuses week after week there is nothing more we can do it is all in their hands. has anyone else gone w/him and what was the experience? Sholud I try another Dr.? We have been going thru. this sense June.
