  8. You have no idea how much you have just helped me! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. You are so right
  9. I wonder if I chose the right surgery, I've had problems with my band and find it easy to cheat bc of it. If it's something that I really like to eat or want and I'm stressed or depressed I will sabotage myself so I can eat it all
  10. I have an appointment set for 3-10 I'm waiting to hear back of my insurance will cover it bc all of this was before I had them. I hope it all goes through its been like 7 years since I've seen anyone about my band
  11. Years of neglect and now self sabotage??
  12. I currently feel little to no restrictions I can eat anything and do. Then I feel guilty
  13. I do yes. I was banded in 08 had issues with insurance wanting not cover the fills and then the nurses laughed at me when it took me a year to get my second fill saying you mean 1 fill a year didn't work so I gave up. Those were the people who were supposed to understand me and help me if they were laughing why try. I never went back. It's been a yo yo nightmare ever since
  14. For me the only thing that opens it up is throwing up. I have a hard time with broccoli and foods that are hard to chew or don't really dissolve

  19. CoachCher I too was sexually abused as a child and as an young adult related sex to love. I used food to block out what was around me. i have always had a problem with my weight my whole family has. i hate how i look and how i feel but what makes it worse is my husband hates the way i look. He tries to support me but when i give in and cheat he tells me he gives up that i am never going to change. Now i have the added judgement of my family in-laws, because my sister in-law had the surgery and has lost 60lbs in 6 months yet i have had the band for almost 2 years and have not lost that much. so every sunday when we have family dinners they look at me and compare us, which makes me feel like eating more. i need help to get on track and i just don't know where to start. please help. thanks change4life.
