You deserve to be happy and healthy,bottom line.

That my surgery is a week away.I have preop visit with surgeon tomorrow,a visit with bariatric nurse to discuss post-diet and pre registration at the hospital tomorrow.I have paid my fee to surgeon.I have to pay the hospital 100.00 tomorrow and that is it.This time next week I will have my band.I have lost 7 pounds as of last Monday.I plan to see how much I am down at my doctors appt tomorrow.I am so excited.My kids asked me what was the lapband?I told them it was a toool to help me with my weight loss goal.Hoping my hubby will get the procedure done also.

I plan to take 2 weeks off.I am also having hernia repair done.

Stay motivated.I was a big advocate in getting the surgeons office to do their part.I called doctors that I want my records from personally to request thaey be sent.I called to confirm that the insurance office received all my paperwork.Then every 2 days I would follow up.My process was not to bad since I have always struggled with my weight and always discussed it with PCP and the dietician at her office.I thought for sure they would want a 6 month month to month with no gaps visit,but they didn't.I guess if i had to guess they looked at it from a 3 month multodisciplinary view.I did have that from last year.Look at my signature line to track my steps.

Congrats.I have surgery on the 15th.My preop appt with surgeon is the 8th.I will also meet with the bariatric nurse that day to.She will go over my post op diet.

Mine was rather simple.The first person asked me a lot of questions not related to the surgery or my weight.I was putting puzzles together.They got more complicated the more I did them.I thought it was funny.I felt like a kid.The guy told me that some people in the past have broke down in tears when it became complicated.WOW.Then I spent 5 minutes with the doctor.I paid 350.00 and went home.He had my report done within a day and faxed to my surgeon office.

I am having my surgey on the 15th.I work as nurse and planning to take 2 weeks off.I wounder if I can use my STD?Just a thought.

My surgeon only ask that I do the sugar buster diet.

I hope to have a date for my surgery when I call back to doctors office tomorrow.I am so excited.I got on scale this morning and I have lost weight.I am really fine tuning my diet this week.I hope to have surgery next week.

I just got a call from doctors office.I was APPROVED.I will be having my hernia repaired in addition to the lapband.I am just waiting to see how much I have to pay and schedule the surgery.

I am getting frustrated.I was just told that info just reached the precert department.It was suppose to have reached them on the 26th according to my call last week.
