  1. Thank you sooo much for your support. It helps a lot!!
  2. Hi everyone! I was banded January 05, revised do to slippage July 05, scheduled for another revision June 2nd. I have a new doc and he's all about saving my band. My first slip was due to vomiting from to much restriction. But this slip has me dumbfounded. I didnt have any vomiting, all of the sudden I got severe pain after eating. First I had my gal bladder checked out, because the symptoms were consistant with a gal bladder attack. Then I had a Flouro and sure enough my worst nightmare, another slip. I love my band and dont want to loose it. However I'm on the fence about having it taken out. My doc is doing an endoscope to see if he can find any other reasons for this slip. If he doesnt find anything else wrong I might have him take it out. But I'm still not sure if I should give the band another chance. Mary:cry
  3. Since last night (8pm) I've had a pinching pain around the right side of my stomach. I hadent had anything to eat since 5pm yesterday. (popcorn) I couldnt sleep, then I felt better thismorning until I tried to eat some soup. I know I'm to tight and I've scheduled an unfill. But the stomach pain is new. Anyone have this before?
  4. Thank you all sooo much. I'm going to schedule an appointment for an adjustment.

I was Banded in Monterrey Mexico by Dr. Rodolfo Sanchez January 7, 2005. Then I had a revision at Walter Reed Medical Center in July, 2005 due to slippage. (to tight) My starting weight was 210lbs and my current weight is 160lbs. I'm 5'6 and a size 12. I feel good about myself and I've learned a lot about myself during the past year. I've learned the band is a tool, and I need to respect it and use it wisely. I am a little parinoid, since I've already had a revision. So whenever I feel a change I freak out and get severly depressed. I love the LBT site, and I'm so glad I found it.

  7. New to LBT. Found it to be the best support site. Sorry so long. Well, I am very comfortable with my band, I have 1.4cc in a 4cc band. I was banded January, 05 had a slip in June, 05 due to the band being to tight. Had a revision in July, 05. Lost a total of 50lbs and I'm still loosing but nice and slow. I recently moved to SD, so I established a new doc. He checked the saline in my band to see where I was and added .1cc last month. Since I've started having a lot of heartburn. And I've become very parinoid that I've slipped again, or that I'm eroding. I know I should go back to the doc to have a flouroscopy but I'm self pay. Does anyone know if you can see a slip with a regular X-ray? Any advice would be great!!
