    Will I ever get restriction?????

Hang in there. It will get better. I am six months out and I still barely have restricition. I have a 10 CC band and are at 8 CC's right now. I am getting closer to restriction each time. It is just a process we have to go through.

    Please read...i need help!!!!

Hang in there. I almost wanted to quit myself. I posted on your last blog. My Dr. told me it was gas. Mine lasted for 7 weeks after my surgery. There were days that I was in tears curled on my bed. I was taking gas x and it didn't help much. Everytime I ate or drank it would hurt worse. It always felt like a dull pain, until I would eat something, then I thought I was going to pass out from the pain. I had my lap band in Oct 2008 and now I am so glad I made it through the bad time. Most people go back to work after a few days. I had to take two full weeks off of work, then I was still miserable at work. But let me tell you I would cut off my leg now if someone told me I had to trade my band or a leg. Be strong, it does get better. Thinking of you.

    Awful Pain?????

My doctor told me it was gas. I had it in my left chest, under my collar bone. It was aweful. I would think I was doing fine, then when I would eat or drink the pain would come back. Sometimes taking my breath away. I would try to lay down but that was uncomfortable. I had this pain for 7 weeks after my surgery. I was in tears and felt like I couldn't do it. I promise it will go away. I took gasX all the time. It seemed to help a little but not much. The gas just has to work its self out of your body.
  4. I was just banded on 10/10/08 too. I am laying here in bed with the same pain. A friend suggested i use a vibrator on my back between my shoulder blades. I have been doing it all morning and burping out all the gas. It is now noon and I am feeling a little relief.
