  1. Hey there! First off, kudos to you for recognizing where you're at and taking steps to get back on track. Your journey sounds incredibly familiar. The pandemic threw so many of us for a loop, and weight management became incredibly challenging. Last year, I found myself in a similar situation where my carefully maintained routine just... fell apart. It's so easy to get discouraged, but what matters is that you're here, you're recommitting, and you're taking concrete steps. Your approach sounds solid, staying consistent is the real challenge in long-term weight loss. Wishing you all the best.
  2. Thanks, see yah around.
  3. Thanks! I’ve been reading through some great posts here. I agree, we all have different goals, but sharing the journey makes it feel a lot less overwhelming.💪
  4. I started Ozempic 2 years ago. Started at 0.25, now taking 1mg. I was 365 lbs then and have since lost around 90 plus. But I’m still overweight that’s why my doctor recommended to up the dose, and my A1C is still over the goal anyway, 7.5 as of this writing. My advice when you’re on it is if you feel just slightly full when you’re having a meal, STOP eating. Trust me. You either puke all of it the next morning or you get diarrhea (luckily mine wasn’t so severe). And if you have pre-existing GI issues it might not be for you- me and my wife have T2 and she took it with me at the start but couldn’t handle the stomach problems. She’s back to insulin, even metformin makes her sick by the way. It breaks her heart that she couldn’t lose as much weight as me because of PCOS as well so I at least sympathize with you, although she might try Zepbound very soon. That said I consider my experience with Ozempic very positive because my eyesight is now a lot better, and I feel my hands and legs more, a lot less cravings, etc. etc. long story short Ozempic saved my life and the side effects are worth it at least for me.
  5. Hi everyone! My name is Reggie and I'm from NYC. My focus the past year has been on adopting healthier habits and getting back into fitness and nutrition. So far, it has gone very well, but I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow in my journey. I really enjoy learning from others' experiences. Consistency is key! Small changes can make a big difference. Let's encourage each other and share our successes and challenges along the way. I hope we can all help each other find our path to wellness. I'm looking forward to being part of this community and making positive contributions together. Let's motivate and support one another as we grow on this journey towards a healthier, happier life. See you soon, Reggie
