  1. I'm 5 days post op from gastric sleeve ? However, I've been having heart palpitations ever since. They're not intense or consistent but they're random and just feel weird. Prior to surgery I had a stress test, EKG, etc and I was fine. I do have controlled high blood pressure but haven't been allowed to take my blood pressure medication again yet (although I never had heart palpitations when I had uncontrolled HBP either). So, I'm wondering whether anyone had a similar experience and what was the reason/outcome? I'd hate to wait in an emergency room for 7 hours for nothing and when I called to talk to my surgeon yesterday, the a**hole acted like I was bothering him (this was the only time we've spoken since he operated on me). Thank you in advance.
