I too was banded in November and have experienced hair loss. It also concerned me for it was at its worse in January/February. It is now fallling out less..just wanted to let you know that it does eventually slow down.

I am so thrilled to hear that all went well for you and that you are not feeling all that badly. I am 12 hours away from surgery and was feeling a bit nervous..but after reading your posts I can say that the feelings of true nervousness have decreased! Talk to you soon!:thumbup:

Great news! My surgery is on the 7th...My only concern is that I may have my period that day...Does anyone know how this is dealt with?

Has anyone had their period on the day of surgery? If so, how is this handled.

I hear ..same feelings here..was denied last week and 5 days later it was reversed...band date is nov 7th...as soon as i rec'd the approval I was not able to eat my lunch...no restrictive diet for the week before either but i thought i would just keep it light until then... best of luck to all of us in November!

i have not had any problems with the staff at Advanced Laproscopic Associates in Hackensack...and the dr's are great!

Thanks Niecey...I just sent them an appeal letter...one that I wrote myself..If the doctor needs to write one up too..I am sure they will as well...I was frustrated last night..but today I am up for the fight...lol ttys..

:rolleyes2: Hi..I was just denied today by Horizon-bcbsnj for gaining 3 pounds during my last weigh in for the 6 month requirement...i just want to scream. i have a bmi of 42 ; high chol; high trig; severe sleep apnea; NASH; and a few other issues... has anyone else experienced this?
