  1. Hi, I am one week into surgery, on full liquids. Can anyone give me some tips on eating on the go like, running errands or something to take to eat in the car. Thanks!
  2. Hi, Has anyone felt hunger their first week????
  3. Hi, I am very new to all of this, your post is alot of great info but, some of it scared me a bit. I had my surgery on 9-24, i would have thought that that far into it it got somewhat easier, i understand the life style change but, i am a bit nervous. Hope all is well, donna
  4. Hey New to this, what is a sleeve??
  5. Thanks sooooo much!! You made my day! I will take your advise and run!!
  6. Hey, Thanks, I got my band on the 24th. I am feeling fine. I have been reading on some sites about people that are more than a year down the road and choking some in the hospital. I am well aware of the life style changes but, I am not happy with spending the rest of my life worried about choking and getting food stuck. I have my first follow up on the the 6th.
  7. Hey, Actually I am fine, a little hungry. I have been reading on some sites that some people that are a year or more into this have problems with food getting stuck, choking, irritations. I would think you would be somewhat used to it a year or so down the road. I know it is a total life change but, I don't think I want to spend the rest of my life worried about choking and getting things stuck. I hope I am totally of base!!??
  8. Just got my band on the 24th. My understanding is that a year or so down the road things get better, the more I read the more unsure I get do you ever get used to it??!!
