Of course I do! Is this not MY country, YOUR country? We have borders. That means people from outside do not belong here unless they take legal channels to be here. This really isn't a debate thread, so I'm not quite sure why you chose to bring this here, smithart. :ohmy:

EVERY topic? Wow, there's what, tens of thousands of topics here and I'm involved in EVERY topic? I only get involved in topics where I have an opinion, as do others. I debate a lot online. I come in with facts, not just feelings. Is it mean? Yeah, some people think it is. Why should I back down on my stance -- especially when I believe it's right? I have debated three topics here that I can think of, and in fairness, they ARE in the debate/rants and raves section: The prostitution thread (which I left a couple weeks ago), the octo-mom, and the rancher thread. ALL DEBATE TOPICS. If you don't like debate, then why do you go to those threads? :ohmy: And yes, I've been (mostly) happily married for 15 years, together for 17. Why do you ask? What does my being married have to do with me having opinions on certain topics?

And technically I could go for that. But they don't want to be American citizens, with the benefits of paying INTO the system -- they simply want to use America for their financial benefit and then go home millionaires.

I can't care about Mexico or anybody else right now. OUR ship is sinking. Who the hell is going to come to OUR rescue. Nobody. I am all for helping others -- but I balk when it is stolen from me. I take issue that we are now TRILLIONS in debt, and illegals cost us hundreds of BILLIONS every year, and it keeps getting worse. That doesn't even begin to take into account the crime they cause and the American citizens they kill. Would you allow somebody to walk in your front door, unannounced and uninvited, and plop down on your sofa, raid your fridge, watch your television, use your car, etc.? Would you say, awww, you have it bad in your country, so go ahead. Better yet, invite every cousin and sibling you have and make more babies. Would you allow anybody to do that to you? If you say yes, I say you're a liar. If you say no, I say you're a hypocrite. America is MY home, not theirs. It's no different than breaking in my front door and saying they're going to live in my house whether I like it or not. They have no right to come here, use our tax dollars via services or welfare, invade our schools, demand we speak Spanish to accommodate them, and DEMAND RIGHTS. You know the reason Mexico is so bad?? Because of the MEXICANS. And all they're doing is bringing that skank lifestyle here. Go to any hugely-illegal area and you'll see it. They turn to barrios in no time. They have their kids squatting on the street and crapping (yes, I've SEEN this). The fact is, we can't save EVERYBODY. I care about mine. I can't give to others at the expense of mine. That's insanity.

But their problem is not my problem. I am not responsible for the fact that they can't or WON'T do anything about their own country and instead choose to abuse mine. I have a stake in this country. They don't. They simply come here like vermin and use it till it's all used up then move on. That's why I consider them vermin -- like locusts who eat all the crops and move on. We just have to agree to disagree on this, smthart. I came from a state where I watched the abuse of illegals and I have no love for them whatsoever. Nor do I respect our government for trying to pretend for people like me that they really CARE about it when, in fact, they don't.

I know this is a totally different topic, but if we quit giving free medical help to the illegals, WE could afford OUR insurance. That WE pay for. :ohmy:

These vermin are using (and abusing) HIS land in order to illegally enter this country. They are harming his livestock, breaking into his home, and tearing up his land. Hell yeah, I'd be getting off on hunting people too. But he is simply turning them over to border control. I have friends who owned a ranch in Texas where they were raising goats, and they had to sell because of all the things that were happening to THEM as well -- goats slaughtered, house broken into, things stolen. They literally sat around their house with guns on them because they never knew what they were going to be faced with. Since when should people who legitimately live in THIS country be required to cower to criminals??

You couldn't be any more wrong, Dan. Just because the liberal papers who side with leftists who have an illegal agenda don't SAY "illegals did this and that" doesn't mean they don't. I've researched it. I've seen the numbers of what they do, what they cost us, and how the adversely affect our country and our economy which MORE than offsets how much we save at the grocery store when buying apples. I work in the system and I see it ALL. THE. TIME. I can't even tell you how many cases I see where illegals are breaking the law, sodomizing little girls, raping innocent women, beating people, MS-13 gang members shooting innocent civilians... Just because YOU don't hear it doesn't mean it doesn't happen -- ESPECIALLY in border states.
