  1. Because you're wired that way. Or else it's because you think she really IS God and will turn you into a toad.
  2. Ew, no thanks. I had that at Christmastime, and it lasted nearly two weeks. It was the worst set of cruds I had ever had with HORRIBLE drainage. I had to get my first fill during that time and almost drowned laying back to get stuck.
  3. PJTP: I'm starving (second day of liquids after my fill) and I'm smelling tacos being made.
  4. Oh wow, Kat, I'm sorry. Glad to hear all should come out okay in the scope of things. I hope my tongue planted firmly in cheek was obvious. I'm just glad to know that whatever thread it was, I had nuttin' to do wit it.
  5. I missed this somehow, Kat. I hope all is okay!
  6. I think most people that get to our point (whatever WLS one chooses) have had it with the obsession that is required to keep up most diet programs. It's simply changing one version of an obsession for another.
  7. Not many, lol, but give it time. We have women with 14 babies who have had no sex, and grandparents giving birth to their grandbabies, etc. It's only a matter of time.
  8. Yeah, I know. But like heartfire said, it's like watching a train wreck. You almost can't NOT watch.
  9. Who, me and devil Dan? Yeah, um... NO.
  10. I feel that way too -- or at least have in the past. It seemed with things like WW or other programs I did, you were CONSTANTLY having to think about what you were eating, when you were eating, how much you were eating, how long until you needed to eat again, weighing everything, journaling everything, counting calories/fat grams/carbs, etc. Though it worked overall, after a while I just felt overwhelmed that no matter what, I was required to stay focused on food. That was never what I wanted. I'm not saying that it's not important to do some of these things for success, but it just got to the point where it became all consuming -- just from the opposite end. So far -- and I know I haven't been banded that long -- I really don't think about it. I simply try to make good choices and exercise, don't weigh food, don't count calories/fat grams/carbs, don't journal, etc. I'm not saying this is RIGHT -- because as I said, those things ARE good to keep tabs on what we're doing... but until or unless I hit a huge plateau and need to pay more attention to what I'm doing, I don't think I will implement any of those things. It's just that, for me, I need my life with food to be as "normal" as can be, and that means taking away the obsession with it in any form.
  11. The one I originally found a few weeks ago (which has since been removed by youtube) shows a split screen of this dog (times 2) yapping at "each other" -- it was supposed to be Barbara and Rosie in a fight. It was so hilarious I was laughing out loud. Wish I could find it somewhere again.
  12. I would just hate to see the thread shut down. The woman doesn't deal in reality. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE God and wholly believe in Him. But some are such that they can't breathe or speak one moment without invoking Him in some way. It's just disgusting. Green really summed it up. So... how far can we push the line anyway? :tongue2: :tt2:
  13. It's funny this came up today. I'm just sitting here watching, and they showed a snippet of the news that will come on later asking who owns the content of what is posted on facebook. Sounds like it's for real.
  14. Kettle? Yeah, Pot here. You're black. :tongue2: I wonder how many potential Christians you have run off because of your nastiness disguised as Christianity. I've spoken to God. He's pissed. He told me to tell you to hush before He turns you into a frog.
  15. Bats! Hehehe! Love it! Have you seen this? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9OxneOtFrk&feature=related]YouTube - Dog Impersonates The View[/ame]
  16. How is it that EVERY. FREAKIN'. THREAD that Patty gets involved in eventually becomes ABOUT her? How self-centered and egotistical does one have to be to be able to do that every single time? This thread WAS about octopussy having 183 kids and saying how wonderful it is that she now has a brood about her ankles to love and adore her and fill her life with the love she didn't get as a child, essentially giving them a job to do before they are born. If you can't stay on topic and quit making it about YOU, Patty, I respectfully ask that you refrain from posting. Better yet, create your own board where everybody can sit about YOUR ankles and revere you as the godlike being you appear to believe you are. :tongue2:
  17. That's not what you said. What you SAID was: "Who cares what the medical community says? Who are they anyway? The medical community aborts children, so I don't always take what drs. have to say as law." You discount them because YOU disagree with them -- and disagree with them because SOME abort babies. Your words are there for all to see. You do a mean backstroke, though, gotta give you that. Really?? Because I said that what you said is ignorant? Hell, honey, you have either led a VERY sheltered life or you are just unreal. You haven't even seen me in a bad mood yet! :tongue2: Yes, plenty. Those who are normal. Those who are not ignorant. Those who are decent. Those who are not full of themselves. Those who can actually have a freakin' conversation without interjecting God into every little thing and making the thread about themselves. Those who are realistic. Those who aren't know-it-alls. You don't fit into any of those categories, and I know there are more. Wish for me to go on? You'd be wrong. AGAIN. Yeah, I've thought the same thing about you, except you'd start telling him or her how wrong they are and how you know their job better. Then you'd start rolling on the floor and speaking in tongues. :tt2:
  18. You are VERY blessed. :tongue2:
  19. To deny that preemies experience problems on average for years to come is as ignorant as saying the medical community don't know what they are talking about.
  20. Sorry, G4E, no disrespect intended. I have my own past myself. The tramp thing came about because we're talking 8-10 boys right now may have had sex with her at about the same time. I just can't get my mind around that.
  21. Also, Patty, as far as Jesus' time and Mary being pregnant at 14, that was common because the average life expectancy wasn't much beyond the age of 40. It's all relative. If old age was 40's, then absolutely people were getting married and starting families in their teens. Today life expectancy is MUCH higher, so the expectancy of marriage and childbirth has also gone up.
  22. I thought SHE thought she IS God. :tt2:
  23. Excellent idea! Incentives are nice and tangible evidence of what we're doing. :tongue2:
  24. S'okay, I'll just call you a groupie. :tongue2:
  25. Hehe, I find all the nasty juicies and dive right in, don't I? :tongue2:
