  1. I had roux en y bypass on the 22nd. My pre-op diet was: Cream of Wheat and a protein shake for breakfast, snack a sugar free jello or pudding, lunch was broth and a low-fat Greek yogurt and dinner was low-fat cream of Chx or tomato soup with cottage cheese. I had one to two more shakes as snacks or more jello or sugar free popsicles. Also at least 64oz of water!
  2. I took oxycodone for the first day after surgery and then just Tylenol
  3. Pain has been manageable! I’m not taking anything except Tylenol liquid every once in awhile.
  4. Had mine on 22nd and doing good.

  6. Yes my weight has affected me the majority of my adult life as well. I’m looking forward to living again! Being able to join my sisters on long weekends and my friends too! I have missed out on a lot!
  7. Mine is the 22nd too. I’m so nervous about it. I’m on the pre op liquid diet, 4th day, and it’s kicking my butt! I hate having the doubts of am I doing the right thing.
  8. Glad you’re doing well. My surgery is the 22nd. The liver reduction diet is kicking my butt.
  9. My date is January 22nd. I’m both excited and nervous. I will learn tomorrow what I need to do the weeks prior to surgery!
