Had my first fill yesterday. Didn't hurt at all as my doc used local anaesthetic. He gave me 2cc and I could feel the tightening of the band while he is injecting. One jab and that's it. His advice is to stay on liquid for 3 days followed by 3 days of mushies.
Honestly I find it difficult to just stay on liquids and my stomach was rumbling the whole day. In the end, I added some very well cooked carrots and chicken into the Soup for dinner. :phanvan
Hopefully I will be a good a good girl and stay on liquid tmr.
Cheers
Hello everyone!
I'm march bander too. though I have been visiting this forum regularly, I think I have yet to introduce myself here.
Will be going for my first fill on 3 May and hopefuly I could see some more weightloss. Mine has somewhat plateaued.
Thanks for the tips.
My doc suggested using radio frequency to tighten the skin if there isn't too much loose skin. It's something like Thermage, the non-surgical facelift.
For myself, I can eat anything too but will try to avoid food that are too spicy or hot as I would not be able to them chew well and likely to swallow them instead. For most days I will stick to Proteins, vegetables, low fat dairy and occasionally some starch. Weight is coming off slowly and hope that this momentum will continue (1kg per week). Currently trying to incorporate some low impact excercise 3x a week.
Looking forward to my first feel in May :bananadoggywow:
Any savoury / crispy stuff for me. After that will be noodles. But basically I eat too much. I used to eat 3 meals, 2 snacks plus supper before the band.:Banane56:
I can identify with Linda. I am at the mushie stage now but seems to be able to eat large amount of food without really feel full. DH always comment that I shouldn't be eating that much.
While looking forward for my first fill, i hope that I did not stretch my stomach too much. Worry....sigh
