  1. I ordered The Lapband Companion from amazon.com. It was a good informational book. It starts at the decision making point and goes to post-op with several success stories.
  2. I had a surgery date of this Friday, the 24. I went and did my pre-op testing and on the chest x-ray it showed that I had pneumonia! I was wondering why that cough wouldn't go away. So I get to take antibiotics and wait until I have a clear chest x-ray. The next set of surgeries is Nov. 21st and I get to be first! Yeah!!!!!
  3. Hi everyone! I have been lurking for awhile and learning all sorts of things from you all. I have finally received my date for my surgery. Oct. 24th:thumbup:. I go next Friday the 17th for my 2nd all day appt. What should I expect with that? I am so ready to have this done. I did go through a ( are you sure?) phase when I learned that I had insurance approval. Butterfly's, Butterfly's and more Butterfly's, but I am told that is normal. It has been great reading everyone's post. Has anyone read "The Lapband Companion"? I ordered this from amazon.com. I thought it was great. It goes from the first thought of a lapband to what happens after surgery and anything inbetween. It even has several stories from patients that are very encouraging. O.k., I guess I am through for now. Talk to ya later, Tina
