  1. Hi, im in the same boat, only heap of pain and spewing all the time. My Dr is a prick, I havent lost any weight in a year. I had a simular situation to you mid year and my band had sliped so i had more surgery, prior to the the port tore off my bowl so that has been restiched. what a nightmare.
  2. hi just a warning, ive had my band done a year and lost nothing. I cant eat any meat or vegetables i have no fluid in my band. my only option is soft food and unfortunately i get so sick of vomiting that i eat ice cream and chocolate which is the only thing keeping my energy levels up. Make sure if things go wrong your dr will take the band back out. Mine wont.

  4. well i would be pleased with 60%, I ve been banded for over a year and havent lost a pound, just vomiting and hospital trips for me. what a waste of money
  5. Hi, I'm in the same boat, Im a year post band and no result only pain and vomitting, I can't eat meat, veg or fruit, the only thing i eat is crackers, chocolate and custard as that is all that goes down, I'm dehydrated all the time and life in general sucks. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
  6. Well it sounds like your all doing well, I got done last september and have only lost 5 kg. (2.2pound to a kilo) 10.8 pound.
  7. well i was in hospital one night, keep up your pain relief the worst is getting up out of bed and being sore but a week down the track im ok. have been taking loperimide for loose bowls. and am getting sick of fluid diet. but on the up side i have lost 15 kg in one week, although the dr said i would loose a lot initially then curve back up before the band was filled. Good luck i think its the best decission i have ever made. Helen
