  2. Hello, I have recently made the decison to have the lapband. I am looking for information from anyone who has used their secondary Insurance to pay for it. My primary insurance does not have coverage, however, my secondary throught my husbands retirement has the Obesity Ryder. They have stated because they are secondary they will not precertify me, because they are my secondary. Will a Doctor still perform the surgery without the approval of the insurance company. Please anyone who can give me some insite.:cool2:
  3. Hello Everyone, I made the decision about 3 weeks ago to have lapband surgery! If only it were that simple! My primary insurance does not cover. However my secondary does. Any insite on how this works would be greatly appreciated.:smile:
