  3. My nutrionist approved me to go on the soft food phase. After protein water, shakes everything just tastes so much better! Currently going to try and see how much of one whole egg, one egg white and a bit of avocado I can get through,
  4. Hi! Thats what I need to cut myself slack on. It's the grace period to learn a new behavior. Its been humbling thats for sure.

  6. I've been struggling with the eating too fast. It's a problem i've always had, but now its having more of an impact on me (obviously). I've luckily only done it twice, with today being the most recent, and I get so mad at myself for letting it happen. Any tricks or advice to slow down. It is probably as simple as taking a tablespoon of food and counting to 50 or something.
  7. These tips are super helpful. Is there an app or a tracker that you are using to see how much protein you are taking in?
  8. I think I'm going to try one at least for the support. My bed is pretty high and sometimes just getting in it for the night makes my incisions twinge. I lost about 13 lbs in the same time frame. It is nerve-wracking in the beginning, but tbh the surgery went pretty quickly (IMO). I was groggy for most of the day from the anesthesia.

  10. I'm feeling pretty good. One of my incisions will occasionally hurt and to cough or sneeze was painful. How are you doing? For the more seasoned vets, is there such a thing as too much protein? I think I overdid it yesterday with my protein shake, bone broth and protein water. Belly binders? Are they necessary?
