  1. Hello all. I went to my doctor/surgeon and have found out that I have a kink in my band lining that has caused a leak. Therefor I have no (or very little) restriction. This last few weeks have been a real nightmare. I am so scared I am going to put weight back on. I am waking in the night and snacking, and also drinking while eating. I cant wait to go and get my band fixed and back on track. I have been visiting this site often and have found that you are all a BIG help. I thought I would let you know what's going on in my little world. :thumbup:Thankyou to each and every one of you.
  2. Hi Jules. Happy New Year to you and yours. I went to the doctors and have been told that I have a kink in my band lining and therefore causing a hole which has leeked. GREAT. I have been very low and am VERY scared that I will gain the weight I have lost. I am waiting to see doctor again to see when I need to go and have day surgery to repair. Just another hurdle in an allready hurdle full life. I feel as though I am ment to be fat forever. Yeah yeah I know i am very down. SORRY. KEEP UP YOU GREAT WORK. Julie.
  3. Hello All. I am at a real low.:blushing::cry_smile::mad2: I am going to my doctor on Thursday due to I feel as though I have no restriction. I was banded December last year and have been going OK till now. I have been putting a little weight back on. I have started drinking whilst eating and eating the wrong foods (some times). I know what I am doing wrong. I only wish I had the will power (guts) to correct it. I have to admit being here and reading other post's help to bring my butt back up again. Am I the only one or has others had 'lows' similar to this. I am VERY worried that my band has leaked and I will need to have it removed or re-done. And that's something I cant afford again. Thankyou for listening/reading. Have a great fat free day.
  4. Hi Aussie Jules. When I read your post it was as if I was reading about myself. I am on a real low at the moment. I have also stoped weight loss, I think due to drinking whilst eating. I dont feel I have the same restrictions I had a few weeks ago. I seem to be hungry all the time and its annoying me off BIG TIME. I have an appointment with my surgeon this thursday. i hope to get some answers. Its GREAT that you have lost so much weight. You are an insperation to me. Good on ya. Julie. PS: I was also banded December last year. and i'm a julie too. lol.
  5. Thankyou all for your replies. I'm not a big sleeper. I have been waking up every 2-3hours during the night for the past 8-10 years. Nobody can give me an answer to why, other then i'm not tired. Your right, I need to stop 'buying for the kids'. I am going for a fill tomorrow. Thanks again for the advice/support.
  6. Hi All. Yep, thank God I found you. I had my band done December 2007. I feel as though I am failing. I wake in the night and eat ALL the wrong foods. I have had a look at some of the entries made by others and realise I am not alone. I have a wonderful support group, my Hubby and 3 lovely children, my mum and dad. I realise that I am eating wrong. I GOTA SLOW IT DOWN. I have NO will-power so I need help. Its GREAT to know that I have this site now to hopefully get the support that I need from other banders. I hope that I can do as well as others have. Well thanks for listening/reading. Hope to be back in the daylight hours. Bye:cry_smile:
