  1. I was banded on 3/21 and I eat 3 full glasses of high Protein at 7 a.m., 12 noon and 5 p.m. I mix two tablespoons of Peanut Butter (8 grams of protein), 1 cup of high protein milk (10 grams) and 1/3 cup of whey Protein powder (25 grams) and 3 ice cubes...It is very satisfying and kills the hunger pains...I also eat yogurt or Jello in between the shakes...I only lost 5 lbs but I don't like being hungry either! Good luck! Let me know how you like the shake if you try it...it taste like a Reese candy cup but is high in protein (43 grams per meal)!! Robin in Sugarland, TX
  2. I just had lapband surgery on 3/21 and now it appears that I may have a hernia (small bump above where the port is placed)..it is painful when I sit in a certain position...I talked to my surgeon today and he said that hernias does happen after surgeries and I will see him soon....has anyone had any experience with hernias?:help: RobininSugarland
  3. Yes. Dr. Kasper just did my lapband surgery on 3/21...he is such a nice man and came to my hospital room after my surgery to talk to me...he talked to me and my son for about 30 minutes and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted. He also encouraged me to go home that evening which I did. I am going to work tomorrow! Email me if you have any other questions. Robin in Sugarland, Texas. r3k131@aol.com
