  2. Hi December Friends! I had surgery on December 11 and so far, so good, not great but no regrets. I'm 50 years old and menopause is a major part of life so sleeping is a major issue. I'm not able to take my estrogen due to an increase risk of clotting, so I'm just not getting enough sleep. I feel like I'd be feeling much better if I could get some sleep. I had a hiatal hernia repair and that's been uncomfortable - probably the one thing I didn't feel prepared for. I just can't wait to get to pureed/soft foods. I hope my teeth don't forget how to do their job.
