This verse tells me so. Some people believe that they are saved and are not. He may call upon the name of Jesus, but does he do his will? I do know that he believes that a woman should be able to choose to abort her unborn baby, or that men should be allowed to marry men, and he feels it is okay to live in a "Robinhood" society. He allows bribery and corruption in Washington, He signs bills with earmarks in them, he isn't careful with the overspending of others money, etc. These issues are not in God's will. He may be saved, but he is mistaken on what God wants from him. I will never judge his salvation. Only God knows his heart and if he is saved or not. I can only judge what I 'see', which is his fruits. If he confessed with his mouth and asked Jesus to save his soul and he has repented, I am glad. I do not know. Sometimes I tend to think that he professes the Christian faith because it is good for his politics. Only God and he knows for sure. Because I don't, I pray for his soul.

This is worth repeating: Liberals suffer from a number of maladies and delusions, but several are painfully obvious. First, not only are they incapable of taking care of themselves, they cannot comprehend why they should be FORCED to take care of themselves. They are terrified of everything that is not pre-processed, homogenized and approved by an official governmental entity. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for. That my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

The new car thing was an example of the many things that parents just 'give' their kids that they don't have to work for. When children grow up having everything handed to them, they tend to grow up with a sense of entitlment and laziness. This is also true of the american people who have everything handed to them. C's are not stingy, they are very giving people. They just feel that when people work for their livlihood, they have a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Wrong. I am very happy. I do not ever struggle, cause Jesus did all the struggling for me on the cross. I am free. My sinful life is just that. I understand that I will sin every day, and accept that. I know what Jesus has done for me, and accept his free gift of forgiveness. And because I have been born again, I know where I will live eternally, I know who has my back, I know who is in control, I have no fears, I have peace and joy and contentment in my life. It is your world that is in turmoil, not mine. You don't even know what God considers right and wrong. Your right and wrong is determined by how you feel about an issue at the time. You have no absolutes or moral code to abide by. Without one, you will always be questioning, never really knowing truth.

Conservatives are definitely not stingy. They are 'fair'. When a person does not want their gov. to support others with their money, it does not mean they are stingy. This is the BIG difference between liberals and conservatives. C's want the people to be independant, L's do not. It's likened to a parent who withholds things from their children because it is 'What's Best" for them. They will succeed in life if you don't buy them their first car and they save for it themselves. They will even take better care of it if they pay for it themselves. C's are very giving, yet they have higher standards for others. If they can succeed, so can those who take the governments money instead of helping themselves. Dem's are insecure because they have a great need for the gov. to control their existance here. Oh, yes, we need the gov. for some things. (military defense, police, infrastructure, etc.) But we don't need a high percentage of the wasteful spending that they do. That's another differnce between the 2. Needs vs. wants.

Conservatives help their fellowman all the time. They don't need a government to do it for them. Liberals NEED the government to do all their thinking and good deeds for them, they are insecure and NEED to know that there is a back up for them. Liberals don't care about their countryman, they care about themselves.

This guy has not read the bible, for if he did, he wouldn't believe the malarky he does. The laws that God handed down in the Old Testament are for all people, not just the Jews. "Thou shalt not murder" is also an OT law. Is he going to say that Christians do not need to adhere to that law because God spoke it to the Jews? What about all the New Testament writings forbidding Homosexuality? Even if that law was given to only the Jews, which it wasn't, Jesus gives it to all of us also in the NT. The problem with people interpreting the bible is that they do not know ALL of it before they come to their conclusion. They pick something out of the bible and try to conform their rules of morality through one verse.

If you feel that what was written was interpreted differently, then you may read from the original greek which is translated into english. I have that bible and when I compare it to other translations (NIV,American Standard,KJV, Amplified, etc.)There is no differing in meanings.

All scholars of the bible have no problems with interpeting the scriptures that teach what is conscrued as 'right' and what is conscrued as 'wrong'. It is those who want to do what is wrong that have the problems with the bibles interpretation. There may be some slight, and I mean slight, interpretation differences among some people who read something and then discuss it, but for the most part, when it says: (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) " Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." Can you interpret that to mean something else? How about this? Can it mean something else? (Romans 1:26,27) Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. There are other scriptures that condemn homosexuality, and there is NO interpretation problems with them. Those who want to engage in homosexual acts will tell you that they 'interpret' it differently, but they're not fooling anyone. The scripture says what it says.
