    I weighed 315 when I decided to have the lapband and was at 295 the day of surgery. I had surgery 9/30/2008 and I am down to 260 now. It has been amazing how much difference this has made and I am excited to keep going. My family has noticed the difference and I just threw away my first set of "big" pants. Having family support is a tremendous help.

    Hi all, I was banded on 9/30/2008. Just had my first fill. I've lost 20 pounds since surgery and 33 altogether. Still learning and looking forward to living better.
