  1. My band is doing great. I am still losing weight. I am 5 foot 7 inches and weighed 220 lbs before surgery. Right now I weigh 154 lbs. Very happy. I just went shopping for a new winter wardrobe and I am down to a size 8. From a size 16-18. Am absolutely loving it. But I found that in the last 3 months, around the time that I get my period, that I can't keep anything down. No solids and no liquids. And I am in terrible pain. Throw everything up. I thought I was crazy. Until I googled it and this site came up. It was a life saver. Will have to see if I have it again, and then ask my doctor what to do about it. I really don't want to loosen the band cuz then I will gain weight.
  2. Hi all, I had the lap band done in March of 2007. I've lost 70 lbs. and I am very happy where I am right now. I was redirected to this site, when I posted a question in google about the lap band, and here I am. Thanks guys for posting. just reading it helped me out tons. Helens
