Hi everyone, just wanted to say hello..I have an appt. in a week to meet with a surgeon and attend a lap band seminar in the same day, it's all one process...can't stand being heavy anymore, I don't feel well physically, my back hurts, two years ago I went to see about breast reduction surgery and was told "you need to lose a ton of weight". So humiliating! But if I don't lower my overall weight, my body will look out of proportion... I'm nervous but feel I need to do this...

Hi, I'm new to this site... considering Lap Band Surgery self-pay using some retirement money, been heavy (85 lbs overweight) the last 12 years.. I take Prozac 80 mg and BuSpar 60 mg for anxiety and depression, mainly anxiety, I wanted to know if anyone would be rejected for surgery due to being on the psych meds, I'm stable and am hoping it is not an issue in getting the surgery...feel like I have to let them know what I take regardless... any comments? Thanks!
