  1. Everyone is different, I didnt feel any gas pain, and I was worked up just like you , and was very very worried. You might not even have any:)
  2. Thank you everyone! Your sincere words have helped a bit, I keep reading them over and over, so I can see there is a time I will be happy again after all this crud. A few really goos suggestions, and points were made that made sense to me. 1. This is an addiction to eating, and it takes time to get better! 2. This is real no kidding surgery and everyone heals different! 3. Maybe a cocktail will help..lol I want to thank everyone for your support...I am still depressed and crying a lot but, at leat I am not alone. Thank you !
  3. Ok so I have been banded 09/17/08, I am banded for only 9 days. I feel soreness still at the large incision site,,my doc things I am fine though. How long did you guys feel the soreness for,,I still can't lye down on my side. I am so depressed wondering if I made the biggest mistake of my life. I am so frustrated with lack of eating. Any kinds words out there to keep me on the right track?
  4. yeah you guys are all right i think i just got paranoide cause i am still on CLEAR liquids. I am convinced it was soemthing else. thnx for all your imput
  5. yup, I was supposed to back tomorrow and it isnt a week until Wednesday, I had to call in today and told them it will be at least Wednesday. Previous postersare so right,,,it takes so much out of you, and you are tired for a long time, I slept the first 2 days away, now i am trying to limit my naps and sleep during the night,,cause i would prolly sleep 24 7..lol
  6. Ugh, well heres to hoping getting through post op..lol. Now th efills i will worry about them when I have to cross that bridge..lolI am sorry they cant find that right fill for you.

  8. thnx i will see how i feel in a bit. I seem to be feelinga bit better, maybe it was the realization of what i had just done. I was making to shakes so often it has formed a habit i guess..lol
  9. I seem to be the only one to have this opinion,,but take a least 1 full week I am on day five and cannot imagine going back to work tomorrow:)Good luck with your surgery. You will do great just give yourself enough healing time or you will regret it
  10. I dont think it is anxiety but anything is possible. hopfully it will pass
  11. 5 days POST OP and i dont know why i wasnt thinking,,but i just had a protien shake and i am still on "Clear" liquids. I think out of habit i made a protien skake, well i drank it and didnt realize it until I started to feel ill. Any tricks to help me feel better. I have sweats, nausau, dry mouth ect.
  12. hello, I am post op 5 days now. I was told to walk , walk and more walking will help. I havent had a bowel movement in 5 days, but the gas is very much undercontrol by me walking as much as I can.
