  1. I would like to attend the the conference it dosent matter to me if it will be in NYC or NJ I live in the area I have one question through do we have to get a room if we attend ?
  2. First I would like to say hi to you I am from NY as well I live in KIngston which is about 1 hr & 1/2 from NYC. I have been Fill 2x since my surgery I am hoping he will fill it again on Tuesday . We will see .Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing .
  3. I was banded on 5/20/08 I have lost about 40 pnds so far but in the last 6 weeks I have been really hungry. I can eat about almost anything I dont think my dr tightened my band enough last time,or Iam afraid that there might be a problem I do get sick on some things but not often. Its hard for me because I dont have a support system where I live. I live 1hr and 1/2 from my surgeon.My dr has a great bedside manner but he really dosent explain alot. He just tells me I am doing find . I dont think I have been really productive with my weight loss this time I gained 2 pnds and lost it . I hope my Dr dosent give me a problem on Tuesday when I see him. Has anyone eles out there had these problems ?:sad:
  4. Thanks Indio Girl 55, for your advice,it was helpful, I am not feeling as bad.congrats on losing so much wieght. I cant wait to get there myself. I will keep what you have told me in mind.I have to learn to control my emotional eating I think no let me take that back I know what triggers my eating junks so I will have to learn to deal with it in another way,like the gym I did that the other day and just ran extra hard and loger than usual. :sad:
  5. thanks for the best wishes,have you had the surgery yet ? If not when will you.I am happy that I have lost some of the wieght. Iguess I am just worried because I have fallen off the wagen so to speak. I have a 100 pounds to go and my dr has set a goal for me to loss 40 more pounds by dec that why I am .worried becuae I think I have only lost about 6 or 7 pounds since my last appointment,which was 6 weeks ago.:rolleyes2:
  6. I am the only person I know who has had the band put in , I had the surgery back in May of 08, and I have only lost 40 pounds so far and I am still hungry. I work out 3-4 x a week but I still get discouraged. Is there anyone out there that has any good advice about how:frown: to avoid little Debbies
  7. you will be able to sleep normally again I had my band put in,in may and it took me about a week to get back to sleeping comfortably again. good luck with everything.

  10. I had the lap band surgery May 20th /08 I find I am still struggling with some old issues I am still hungry I have lost about 40 pounds since the surgery. I am hopping to find someone in my area to team up with who had the surgery.I live in kingston NY. My surgeon is Dr Anthony Pucci in Goshen NY. I am very happy with having Dr Pucci as my Dr.
