  1. I would like to say thank you all for your kind loving words. I have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow for him to take a look at it. He put me on antibiotics and told me to continue Tylenol. It got bigger, feels like a warm ball inside or something. Very very uncomfortable and I'm scared of it popping if I walk. (I'm too anxious) I can't wait until tomorrow. I've had a fever all day long today, surgeon told me it's OK to wait until tomorrow. I feel so miserable and achy praying this goes well tomorrow.
  2. I've been having really bad left side pain since I had my surgery 7/17/23. Yesterday night I had fever twice going as high as 102.5. I called my surgeon who advised me to keep hydrating and visit their office in the AM. When I woke up this morning I noticed some redness and swelling around my left side incision and moving towards belly button. I decided to go to doctors office and they put me on antibiotics. I have to go in 2 days to see the surgeon. The nurse told me he might possibly have to open the incision back and drain it. I am praying and hoping he doesn't have to drain it. It sounds so painful. I had fever twice today. I can't wait for this to be over. This is a total nightmare and I feel so discouraged and depressed.
  3. So I called nurse and she basically told me it is normal and to keep taking tylenol ( even though it doesn't work )
  4. I had a gastric sleeve to bypass revision with a hiatal hernia repair on July 17. They sent me home with 15 percocets, Zofran and spasm medications. I took Tylenol and then percocet if the tylenol did not help, finished the percocets kept trying tylenol with no relief. The pain was so bad I had to call the nurse on post op day 4 and ask her for something else, she gave me flexeril. It does not help at all. I tried hot packs, gasx and the spasm medications as well. Drinking water and walking. My left side is very very tender and painful. Nurse told me it was normal since I had stitches inside in that specific side. Yesterday I went to the supermarket and i couldn't even speak or take a deep breath from the pain, it was so so bad. I'm calling the nurse back tomorrow (post op day 7) and see what else I can do. Did anybody go through this? How long does it last? I feel so discouraged and I'm regretting this surgery so so bad.
