  5. I think I’m taking it so hard because I stalled before I even really started to lose any weight.
  6. Thanks for the support everyone. It’s just so frustrating. Everyone says they see a difference in me, but I’m convinced it’s just the placebo of them knowing I had the surgery and so they think they see a change. Everything still fits the same, and my measurements don’t seem to have changed. I know I’m still healing and my body is figuring out what’s going on, but man is it emotionally harder than I thought it would be.

  10. I’m 5 weeks out from surgery, and I have been stalled since 1.5 weeks. I’ve been trying to stay positive and remind myself that this happens and that I just need to stay on track. I know I need to stop weighing myself, but every day I wake up so hopeful to see a change, and every day I’m disappointed. At this point, it just feels like it was all for nothing. I’m just sad.

  12. I’m a few days away from starting the regular/chopped food stage and I’m worried about getting enough protein. So far, I’ve been hitting my goals and about 4.5 oz of purée/soft food makes me comfortably full. This has allowed me to get a decent amount of protein at each meal. I’ve heard from a lot of people that you get full way faster when eating solid food, and I’m worried that this will cause me to not be able to get all my protein in. Is this what happens? Does it get harder to get your protein in once you start eating regular food? I’m just so anxious. Any advice or anecdotes is helpful.
