    Regrets

Hey! Wanted to give you hope. I’m now 6 months out and doing much better! Those first couple months are really hard and it’s normal to feel like you are but I promise things improve. I now eat whatever I want to eat (within reason obviously). So hang on, you’ll get there too!

So we’re all about 4 months out give or take. How’s everyone doing? I’m in week 4 of a stall and it’s starting to get to me
  3. Hey all! I know we all may have different surgeon guidelines and of course a nutritionist is the expert. Having said that- I’m looking for comparison of your numbers vs mine on your daily intake at 4 months out. I’ve been stalled nearly 3 weeks. Just curious to see what others tracking looks like at this time period post operatively. Thanks!!

    Did I eat too much?

This may seem silly. I’m 7 weeks out, really doing very well but today I felt like I ate way too much. I track everything in an app and I’m attaching it here. What are everyone’s thoughts? I only ate “good things”, but I’m feeling stressed like I “over ate”.

    Regrets

Hey! At day 4 I was so miserable and depressed and I’m the worst mental state. I’m 10 days and I’d say by day 7 I was starting to feel better both physically and especially mentally. You’ve got this

    Regrets

Ok, let me say this. Yesterday I was in a bad place mentally. Today, I’m feeling a little better at 7 days out. It’s not hurting to drink as much and I can get a more normal amount of fluids in etc. Give yourself grace- you haven't ruined anything from a few bites. This is hard. We’ve never done this and we’re not going to be perfect. You got this

Thank you for your comment, it’s nice to hear from someone in the same timing as me ! I’m glad you’re doing better. You also reminded me that I am very much listening to the whispers of the enemy right now. So, I have my bible study I have been ignoring open right now. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this, I actually think coffee would help my mindset too! Maybe tomorrow I’ll go to Starbucks and get something skinny and SF and add my protein to. I’m glad you’re doing better!

You’re right! And that 2 pounds is great, don’t let it bother you. You will pick up and meet your goal .

    JUNE SURGERY BUDDIES

I had a sleeve on 6/14. I’m struggling. I guess textbook I’m doing ok- no nausea or vomiting, drinking ok and getting around. But I’m just down. I had horrible pain the first two days but that’s gone. But my stomach just hurts if I don’t sip and hurts when I do. I’m bored out of work, but no motivation to go or do anything. I’m very weak and fatigued. I don’t seem to even have joy that I’m losing weight. Idk what’s wrong with me.
