I had mine on the 17th. I started eating purée as well but it’s causing me pain. Is anyone one else having this issue. I am still not able to get all my 64 oz of water and protein. I talk to my dietitian nutritionist she was planes going to take small bites small sips, and I thought that’s what I’ve been doing but some thing still doesn’t feel right. Do anyone have any good suggestions on what to do or have anybody else have been experiencing is just wondering any tips will help

Hello everyone my surgery was a success I was sleeve yesterday. I am able to keep down my fluid and shake. You get pretty full. currently drinking out of little med. Cups. So I am no where near the marks. I am having issue with my blood pressure. But all in all I am doing well. good luck to everyone. ?

How many days do you have to do for your pre- op. I have to do 14 and I started on July 2 I may have started a day early lol. But I’m on day 9. It’s been a struggle I notice I don’t have much energy I’m always tired.

That’s great how are you feeling that it’s getting closer. I am in Virginia and I am having it at Uva hospital. I think I am more anxious than nervous and worried about the pain. ALot of people describe there pain differently

@WanderingLass yes I have had the bathroom experiences already on day one. I sure hope it does get better. @Inspectorjh84 same I am Craving so much stuff. But we got this and we going to rock this journey.

my surgery date is the 17th as well. I totally agree with you. My highest weight 251. I am ready for the new journey of my life.

@Johnpayne that’s not bad at all. I have to do 14 days . Protein shakes, jello, pudding I’m allow to eat one meal a day but it have to be high in protein. It’s either lunch or dinner. Of course plenty of fluids.

Hi for those that are doing the pre-op liquid diet how is it going. Today is day one for me and it is a struggle. What are you guys eating or do you have any tips on what to do.

Right I was trying to figure that out as well. Someone I know only had to do it 2 days before ??‍♀️. Congrats on your surgery date

Hey guys I have my surgery July 17th, I have to do the liquid diet as well 2wks before my surgery. But I am able to eat dinner if I choose too. They did say doing the liquid diet will shrink the the liver to help the procedure better. I know everyone have different plans from their drs. Congratulations to everyone.

Yes I am excited and nervous. I finished my last in march. Then I I had went in to meet the surgeon and then from there they gave me my surgery date. I had a class as well for after surgery. Good luck with your surgery
