I can agree but it’s only eggs from the soft foods they said I could eat. The first few times I ate them I didn’t have any issues. Today I didn’t eat them just some refried beans and all went well. Thank you for your response
Thank you it only happen with eggs now. It the first few times I ate them I had no problem. It has a little cautious but I will only eat the refried beans, yogurt and cottage cheese and see how that goes. Thank you for your response
Good morning, I had my surgery on May 3rd and started eating soft foods May 11th. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong because the first few times I ate everything went well but the last few times I can’t keep it down. It doesn’t hurt or anything just I’ll cough and the whole thing comes back up. So now I’m a little scared to eat I know I’m chewing it like 30 times before swallowing and I’m breaking between each bite and I stop drinking 30 minutes before and only eat for 30 minutes and I don’t drink for 30 minutes.
Please help I know I can’t be the only one experiencing this…if you know something anything that can help please share
I had my surgery last week, no issues so far. A lot of my stomach had sucked into my hiatal hernia along with a lot of scar tissue. I feel 100 times better already.
Hey y’all hey, just joined the group but so excited to have people to talk to about my experience vs. their experience through this process. I started my liquid diet on April 23, 2023 and had gastric bypass surgery May 3, 2023. So today I’m one week post-op and had eggs for breakfast. Hardest thing so far is getting 64oz of fluid in a day but that god we can could all liquids??
