  1. I agree I’ve had tons of surgeries and never was I allergic to the glue but this time I broke out so bad and I still have the marks from the reaction…I do know I’m lactose free intolerant too we’re I wasn’t before…it’s really just a try and see as you go for what works for you…thank you for responding
  2. The diarrhea in itself was enough for me???
  3. Thank you and I have dialed back on going against m doctor for sake of trying new things… this one s definitely a tail and error thing for sure
  4. Yes I’m only 15 weeks out and my doctor said to wait 6 months for pork and beef…when I got the chili I wasn’t thinking about the beef…so not I’m only have a little diarrhea no other symptoms
  5. I see I have stuff missed spelled and missing from what I was saying but I don’t know how to edit it…the screen was black when I was typing and the letters was black too how did that happen because the letters are white now??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️
  6. Hey y’all it’s been a minute since I’ve posted or asked question…lately I’ve been experiencing a lot of diarrhea but t no t sure how f it’s dumping or something else…I will say I did eat something’s I prolly shouldn’t lent have based on m timeline given b my doctor…I’m in 15 weeks post op and was told not to eat port or beef until. Was 6months out but it had chili from Wendy’s…I’m not sure how dumping feels or what happens but it came right Ning out like water and for a few hours…no real pain or sweating just diarrhea…is that dumping or just I ate something more little tummy didn’t agree with
  7. Turkey sausage is a great idea I just wasn’t sure that would be consider soft foods and nowhere on my list of foods say oatmeal but I would love some oatmeal. I’ve finally reach a weight loss stall I’ve been between 168 and 170 for the pass week and a half so I thought it was because I was able to eat more
  8. I feel like a pig because I have no trouble getting down an entire boiled egg heck most foods I eat I’m eating the whole 2 to 2.5oz of it with no problem. I’m never hungry but I do have my watch set to alert me at 8am, 12noon and 5pm to eat. Yesterday was the first time I actually felt full but I’m never hungry. I’m 5 weeks post op from RXNY. Only eating soft foods only protein no veggies until week 6 post op. If you know of anything other than eggs I can eat for breakfast please post I’m so sick of eggs
  9. It happened to me too…I think it’s the multivitamin w/iron but I almost gave up on protein shakes because I thought that is what tasted like metal
  10. What is the app. I didn’t know it was an app associated with this group… do share
  11. I have been saying the same thing to my friends I don’t feel hungry or full. If they hadn’t put me on a time to eat I probably wouldn’t because I don’t know I’m hungry and I stop eating in 30 mins because they told me I don’t feel full. I don’t want to stretch my pouch either but it feels strange not having those feelings. I’m 4 weeks post-op from gastric bypass surgery
  12. It is the ricotta bake the marinara sauce is optional so is the little extra mozzarella… here is the link to the recipe I used https://bariatricbits.com/single-serve-baked-ricotta/
  13. I made it for lunch today OMG it is so gooooooood. I was craving pizza and this has done it for me. Couldn’t eat much it it in a 4oz ramekin and only could eat a little less than 1/4 but man it’s good
  14. I heard that ricotta bake was so good but how soon after surgery can you have that because they haven’t said anything about that yet in my list of foods…I’m 3 weeks post op tomorrow gastric bypass surgery May 3rd
  15. I’m sure that’s what it is. And I will continue to research it but it’s no fun that’s for sure
  16. Don’t feel nauseous either it just comes up and I feel so much better
  17. Thank you this was very helpful and insightful. I thank God for this group you guys are amazing. I’m only close to 3’weeks post-op and I’m struggling with this but the article is right it doesn’t happen all the time and I’m learning slowing what causes it
  18. Hey y’all I had my 2 week post op on Friday down 13lbs since the surgery. Cleared to eat soft foods for over a week but I have been having a lot of thick saliva or mucus that comes up and I can’t keep my food down. At first if I drink something hot/warm for my last drink before my 30mins it would stay down but now maybe half stays down but the rest comes back up. Is anybody else experiencing this? I’m willing to try anything at this point. Please help??
  19. Please be encouraged. Although I haven’t had the same problems as you I was having a hard time with keeping my soft foods down (RNY May 3). I started drinking something hot/warm 30 minutes before each meal (i.e. broth, tea) and that has helped tremendously. I’m still only eating a few tips of a spoon but man it taste so good. so just a suggestion try drinking something hot/warm to see what f it helps Good luck ?
  20. I will say it will get better. Had Bypass surgery on May 3rd and the only real problem I had was not keeping my soft foods down the last couple days. I read something that said drink something hot/warm before your eat time so I tried it today and boy it was a game changer
  21. Thank you and I’m starting to see that I’m not alone in the no egg thing???
  22. I’m learning that it can be a little fussy. I already had issues with textured foods and how they felt in my mouth so this is just another thing I have to learn. It’s really crazy I had the RYN and most of my friends had the sleeve they didn’t had all these problems. I notice some doctors do it different on the stages because purée wasn’t one of my stages but I feel I should try that. My surgery was 15 days ago in the 3rd of May
  23. I’m starting to think the same thing. They talking canned tuna, canned chicken and fish next I’m not even sure I’m ready for that kinda stuff yet
