  3. Hey hey! I had my sleeve surgery May 25th and was discharged today )May26th). Everything went so well; I'm in barely any pain; barely had gas pain it seems; my throat is sore but I'm able to get liquids down; taste buds are in check. I was a nervous but "I did it;". Only sad thing is a friend got me edible arrangements and I can't eat them; relative froze some of them so I can have them later and family is having a field day eating them.

  6. Just had a friend reach out to me asking for an update on my upcoming surgery and then the irrigation began where I felt like I was fighting for my life trying to prove myself. I just don't get it.... "I just wouldn't want you to go through this and you don't make the changes and fail and have to live with that guilt" she said to me... I'm like...if I fail at this at least I tried and at that point maybe I was meant to be obese lol.

  8. I'm still in pre op and my relatives and friends are trying to talk me out It. I hear the "you're not THAT BIG"; "are you going to stick to the plan"; "you could just do intermittent fasting"; "you're just so stuck on being small"; "just eat off smaller plate and exercise." I wish I'd told no one; lol. T hen when I don't talk about it; I get the "you haven't kept us updated on the process" smh We have to be strong and believe in ourselves. I tell myself "If I fail, if I succeed At least I'll live as I believe"...."at least I did it for me"; "at least I tried". Be strong
