  1. Congrats to all that have met your goals and received date for surgery. I finally obtained surgery on April 11 2023 after a 5 year struggle. I have to say the surgery is not as bad as I thought it would be as far as pain. I chose the Sleeve and the procedure took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. My pain was never over a 3 and I felt great right afterwards. I was able to walk over a mile in the hallway the night of surgery. That is one thing I will suggest to all getting the surgery. Get up and walk as often as you can after surgery. It really has made my recovery so much easier Once I went home I was walking 3 to 4 miles a day with no issues. I wish you all luck and great overall health improvement in your journey.
