  1. Recovery is going well for me from my surgery on the 2nd. Not in too much pain anymore and moving around better! Pretty much meeting my protein goal daily by adding unflavored protein powder to my water, broth, pudding, etc. Sipping all throughout the day and staying hydrated! I’m excited to be 37 pounds down from my heaviest weight as of this morning! I can’t stress how important it is to walk walk walk. Does not have to be fast! But get yourself moving!! It helps with the pain and soreness and keeps blood clots away!! Of course, don’t overdo it! But every step helps!!!
  2. Same here. They gave me some gas x but it did nothing really… I really haven’t gotten much relief from the gas pains until today (2 days post op). Today is a lot of soreness and feeling like my abdomen area is under a lot of pulling sensations when standing up, sitting down, and walking. It is getting better though… I also had a hernia repaired and that hurts a pretty good bit itself too…
  3. Had surgery yesterday morning (2nd) and still in hospital.. They are saying things are looking good and may go home this afternoon (3rd). I was not prepared for the amount of pain I am in. I also had a hernia repaired and the nurses and dr said that will cause the pain to be a little worse than normal. Also, the gas pain is no joke. Get up and get to waking as soon as you can after your surgery to try to get the gas moving out and keep blood clots from forming!
  4. May 2nd here. On day 4 of optifast and water and having a really hard time stomaching it because of the metallic taste in my mouth after I drink it. Not really having the "hunger" feelings like days 1-3 but do have an "empty" feeling. Hard to explain. 10 pounds down and the only place I can tell is in my fingers... HaHa
