  1. Maggie76, I think you'll love him. I just had my 4th fill and had to wait for the x-ray guy for about 5 minutes, and Dr. T talked with me for the entire time, answered all my questions and more. He is great as are all of his staff. Kdog.
  2. Hello, I had the lapband done on Sept. 10, 2008 by Dr. Tvetenstrand. I have had the best experience with him. He really knows his stuff. He has great bedside manner. He always listens and I never feel rushed. Your pictures show great progress...congrats on that. I have lost 65 lbs. since the start of my Lapband journey. Take care, Kdog
  3. Hello, I too just had my first fill, surgery was 9/10/08. I am feeling some restriction, however, it seems that in the evening, I can eat more than other times of the day. Just hang in there and we will be thinner in no time. Kdog
  4. Hello, Just wondering what people think. I am 11 days post op, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I felt yesterday like I wanted to try a small piece of a piece of pizza. It seemed to go down well, then today tried a small piece of bagel. Then I decided to go on LBT.com and read that even though everything felt like it went okay, it is not a good idea, as it makes your stomach work, possibly when it's not ready to. Ut ohhh. Does anyone think that damage could have been done just in that 24 hr. period. I have been scared back into the full liquid stage as I want this experience to be a positive one all the way through. Thanks, Kdog:crying:
  5. Hello, I am now 2 days post op and feeling very good. Prayers were definitely answered regarding my surgery. I experienced basically no pain, and just had a great experience all the way around. Tummy is a little sore on day 2 but nothing to worry about. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. Kdog
  6. :thumbup:Hello fellow Christians. I would appreciate your prayers as I head into surgery at 5:30am on Sept. 10, 2008. I pray that the surgery will go fine with no complications, I pray that I will have as little gas pain as possible, and pray that I will recover quickly. To God be the Glory Great things he has done. Kdog
  7. :thumbup:I too will be with you both. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30am. I too am nervous but very excited about my life that is to come. Good luck all, and I will keep you all posted on progress. Kdog
