  1. It sounds to me like your husband is the one with the problem. Only people that are unhappy would say mean things to someone they love. As you start losing weight you will totally come out of your depresion. I think you may need to consider couple's therapy b/c it will be hard for you to forgive him for being mean to you without help from an outside source. It is unfortunate, but we do learn how to treat people from our parents and whether we realize it or not, we end up modeling that behavior in our own relationships. However, he is an adult and he can choose to behave differently! All that being said, you DO NOT need to tolorate verbal abuse from him or anyone else for that matter. His words cannot change who you are! Hold your head up and be proud. You deserve respect! Hope things get better for you.
  2. I got banneded on the 8th and I'm still full of gas too! However, I woke up this morning and was not feeling sick with hunger for the first time in days! Don't get me wrong, I'm still hungry! Good luck September banders!
  3. Hey! I just had mine done on the 5th. Besides feeling full of gas and being hungry already, I guess I'm fine. How about you?
  4. Good luck to you too. I'm scared I still may want to eat too much and that this won't help. I know it's just the jitters and second guessing, but it's hard when you've been battling so long and nothing's worked yet. Thanks for the response! Kat
  5. Thanks for the encouragement! Best of luck to you! Kat
  6. Hi: I'm brand new to the forum. I'm going in for surgery on Friday. I'm a bit scared. Any helpful words or suggestions? Thanks!
