  1. Thank you so much. You are only 2 days post-op ? Great Job for you to be up and typing away !
  2. My Doctor (very conservative) wants me on a liquid diet (clear) for 4 weeks post-op. I was on one for 2 weeks pre-op and lost 20pds. I'm 9 days post-op and Starving !!! I'm breastfeeding a baby still and am struggling with this clear liquid diet now going on 4 weeks and suppose to be for 2 more weeks. I have started eating a few days ago, soft food, chewing very very well but am SO WORRIED I'm going stretch the pouch out or do something bad because I'm eating so soon. I have not had a fill yet (will in 3 more weeks) so once everything is down it's as if I don't have the band. Can drink/eat at the same time etc. I just don't want to be sabotoshing myself so soon. Any advice/suggestion's ??????? Thanks in advance !
  3. Not that I'm aware of but that's why I logged on tonight. I'm 9 days post op and starving. I've been eating and chewing very well but am worried I shouldn't be. My Doctor (who is very conservative) wants me on a clear liquid diet for 4 weeks post-op. I was on one for 2 weeks pre-op and lost 20 pds but am still breastfeeding a baby and just am struggling with the post-op but am not wanting to have a medical problem because I'm eating so soon. Does anyone have any advice ?? Thanks in advance.
  4. I can take any physical pain related, I can't take my son crying because he want's to nurse and I can't (won't). Did the anesthesiologist give you any worries or the pain med's for management afterwards ? My son is 2 so therefore I'm not worried about him nutrionally, I just don't want to pump and dump (I'm past that), I just want to know how long I should wait after surgery to resume our night nursing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !!!
