  1. Welcome to your new journey! It really is "do-able". I had my surgery last Tuesday, totally off pain meds after day 4, and enjoying coffee in the morning again. Start stocking your pantry little by little with broth, soups, slim fast, etc. These support groups help alot. good luck! cindy
  2. Thanks for the support! I can't wait to eat scrambled eggs, grits, cream of wheat..... Between the protein drinks and the blended soups, that is really the only complaint I have. Small price to pay for such a big pay off. I'm knitting like crazy now to keep my mind of food. And I can only make washcloths and scarfs.....
  3. Hi KyBand! I had my surgery with Dr. Gellar at Norton Suburban Hospital. I had an excellent overnight admission. Keep positive and good luck!
  4. Hi everyone! I was lap banded on 8/26, no real pain now, but my hunger is HORRIBLE! I'm on a liquid diet until next Tuesday and I can't wait to taste a scrambled egg or oatmeal! Protein shakes and blended soups are getting dull...any creative ideas?
