  1. Yep I am still only overweight not obese I think, but surrounded with a lost of obese friends those keep talking about weight loss methods starting from weight watcher programs and ending with complicated surgery such as gastric bypass ... so I want to know more about these stuff.

As been said here, chrck your BMR if you want to lose weight: 1- Practice more 2- Eat less If you want to maintain your weight try to each the same amount of calories every weigh and keep the same life style Some type of foods are really tricky ... Big Mack with fries and pop might end you up intaking 1600 calories.
  3. Same problem in Canada, weight loss surgery is not covered yet by OHIP, which I thing wrong especially for people with BMR 40 or up where the surgery is something to safe live not to improve the body's shape, however I think you still find some institutions that help you to fund the surgery ask your lap band clinic about that.
