  1. Thank you! Will definitely try that. I am not a back sleeper so I feel like I am not getting the proper amount of rest I need to recover properly.
  2. I am 5 days post op RNY. Surgeon said everything went great. Pain has subsided all except when going from sit to stand or sit to prone and vice versa. Pain as well when coughing or sneezing. Fluid and protein going down and staying down no problem. Can’t get comfortable to sleep. Normal? I feel like I’m ripping in half when I try to lay on my side.
  3. How exciting! My RNY is May 12. I’m getting super excited but nervous also. Make sure to keep me updated :) you got this girl!!!!
  4. Let’s see if any of us have May Surgery Date Twins.
  5. I am getting close to scheduling my RNY. I had my endoscopy the beginning of the month and go 3/6 for final appointment. I am having the fear/anxiety about what if I don’t wake up. I have had a lot of stress lately. My aunt (66) just had a stroke earlier this month and I have a 5 year old at home who is very active. I wanna have this surgery for my health and to be around to see my son grow up and do more things with him and my husband and not be so out of breath or not able to because of pain, heart palpitations or shortness of breath. But I’m having the anxiety and fear of not being around for it. Normal? How do I fix my thoughts? I am a believer and I give God full control but anxiety is still creeping in.
